EBay has settled its lawsuit against the co-founders of Skype, which allows the sale of Skype to Silver Lake Partners to move forward. The private equity firm’s investors include Skype’s co-founders. The sale is promising if you’re a Skype user: under eBay’s ownership, Skype’s progress has been fairly slow.
