There’s a bewildering range of teeth whitening products in commercial circulation presently, all making claims to transform your smile into that of a Hollywood A-lister. A little cautious scepticism is in order; some of the products are effective, but you’ll need some patience before you see noticeable results.

One of the products falling into this range – modestly priced but steady and slow as opposed to ‘instantaneous’ – is the excellent Boots Expert Teeth Whitening Kit. It only costs under $50, so don’t expect miracles from the outset; but after two weeks you’ll almost certainly see extremely pleasing results.

Take care to mould the dental trays extremely tightly to your teeth, apply two ten minute applications of whitening gel a day, and wait for a fortnight. The kit also throws in tooth-whitening toothpaste to help things along. You might not get a part in an upcoming Hollywood rom-com, but you’ll be smiling very happily (and confidently) after a fortnight.
