Want an affordably funky touchscreen cell phone? Take a look at the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic

Anyone looking for an affordable cell phone with a touch of razzle will probably have seen the LG Cookie and Samsung Tocco Lite. But Nokia’s 5530 XpressMusic beats both. It comes with a higher resolution screen (640×320 pixels and 16 million colours) plus a camera flash and 3.5mm jack, which the other two lack.
The responsive 2.9 inch screen rotates automatically when you turn it and has a virtual alphanumeric key pad in portrait and a QWERTY in landscape. You can customise the home screen to give one-touch access to Facebook, music, e-mails and so on and you can put your 20 best friends on it via the Contacts Bar.
It supports all popular music formats and, with an equaliser and two speakers, it delivers a superb 3D surround sound effect. With Bluetooth, USB connections and even a WLAN, its 70MB memory can be expanded to 16GB with a microSD card (it comes with a 4GB microSD). Who’s the daddy? The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic!
