Brain training books: Workout sessions for your brain
The brain suffers from the aging process just like other body parts, and its ability to store and recall information deteriorates gradually. This condition cannot be cured or prevented, but it can be slowed down by keeping the brain active, with tasks that require it to work hard.
Brain training books are specifically designed to stimulate the mind. These books typically contain puzzles of various kinds. The puzzles are not just picture puzzles made out of pieces of a larger picture. There are numerical puzzles that are made of a series of numbers having a specific pattern between those. It is the player’s task to find the pattern and complete the series. There can be word puzzles as well. In these, player has to crack the anagram of a well known word and find out the actual word to complete the puzzle. Color pattern puzzles require the player to remember a specific order in which differently colored squares are arranged in a grid. The player has to remember the sequence in which the colors are arranged, and then answer some questions based on that, given in the next page.
Brain training books are must have additions to the book collection of anyone who wishes to keep his mind sharp all the way to a ripe old age
