Parents and reviewers absolutely adore the BOB Revolution stroller. It can be called an all-terrain stroller based on its rugged durability, but company reps (and reviewers) say this stroller makes the transition to jogging on city sidewalks or navigating crowded malls equally well thanks to its turn-on-a-dime maneuverability.

Adjustable two-phase suspension and pneumatic tires give this stroller a smooth ride, while the padded seat is adjustable to a slight recline of 70 degrees from vertical, so your tot can sit back and enjoy the ride.

Storage includes 2 interior seat pockets, one large pocket on seat back, and a large, easy-to-access cargo basket beneath. The high-strength aluminum alloy frame makes it both lightweight and durable. The stroller holds children from 6 weeks to 70 lbs., the highest capacity of any stroller in its class.

This stroller is a runaway winner in the category of all-terrain stroller, although many of Amazon’s reviewers used it primarily as a jogging stroller and had no issues in that regard, either. The main complaint? Parent cup holders are sold separately.

   BabyGaga, a review site which tends to be thorough—perhaps even a bit harsh—in its reviews gave the Bob Revolution A’s across the board: child safety, convenience and comfort. The stroller achieved five stars in both parent and durability ratings. BabyGaga noted no complaints in regard to durability. A mere 2 % of reviewers had “mildly negative” notes about the stroller’s maneuverability. Mostly, though, reviewers loved how well this stroller navigated everything from crowded shopping aisles to icy sidewalks.

   Nine out of nine Amazon reviewers gave the BOB Revolution 5 stars, citing its light weight and durability as key benefits. Reviewers say they couldn’t live without the swiveling front wheel for maximum maneuverability, but the wheel is easy to lock for navigating rough terrain, too. One Colorado-based reviewer called it a “great mountain stroller,” testament to its effectiveness in any environment.

   REI.com, an online sporting goods retailer and consumer cooperative, published 111 customer reviews of the BOB Revolution on its site. An overwhelming 98 % of the reviewers would recommend this stroller to a friend, and overall the stroller received an average of 4.7 stars. “Pros” listed included: durable, easy to set up, easily stowed, comfortable and lightweight. The most telling review came from a parent in South America who took the stroller through its paces and said it held up in dirt, mud, and across beaches. She said the stroller “held up like a champ” during a 20-minute hike in the far south of Chile, where a boat tour operator took them across dirt trails in the rain and through some small steams to reach their destination. This is why it’s so easy to call the BOB Revolution an all-terrain and jogging stroller in one.
